Edits to AIPCat upon upgrade to Drupal 6.10
1. Hyperlink the Website address and Metadata links
2. Change the "Publication" category in Create Content to "Aquatic Information Catalogue Entry" as I think this Create Content option would be clearer to the user.
3. On Teaser Page show: Title, Type, "Date Entered into Catalogue", Date Relevance, Website Address
4. The Full Details view should have all of the categories asked for upon input to be shown, as well as the date of the entry into the catalogue which isn't presently visible anywhere.
5.Edits to the Catalogue entry form:
- help text under Place Name (Gazetteer)should read "Please enter the recognized geographical place or feature name. To check the validity of a Canadian Geographical place name query the Canadian Geographical Names Database here." And "here" should be hyperlinked to this URL http://geonames.rncan.gc.ca/search/search_e.php
6. If we have the Geo and GMap modules working then we needn't have the bounding coordinates--although I'm reticent to have this data and data entry option to disappear. Any ideas?
7. Images should be larger ~ 300X300 pixels
8. BC Watershed Atlas has two entries, one of which is incomplete, and cannot be deleted rather an error pops up.
Questions for Olly:
1. Is the Catalogue based on CCK and Views?
2. What time period do you suggest the crontab or Windows scheduled task to run cron.php--hourly?
3.a. If I download and zip the below listed add-on modules (or at least those you haven't added) would you mind popping them into the sites/all/modules folder in the Drupal directory?
3.b. And a related question, given a copy of your updated Drupal site, would you recommend working locally to incorporate other modules and then uploading the whole local working copy of the Drupal directory to the live site? Or working locally to incorporate the modules, and then repeating the steps taken locally to incorporate the functionality on the live site.
(Did I word that to make sense?)
